Add a new address
Use this example to place a Korean shipping address into Amazon's fields. It is a reconstructed guide, not the live registration form; verify the current requirements on the actual service.
How are the fields filled?
Select an address in the converter and follow the Amazon link. The official base address and your chosen detail format fill this example. If opened directly, the page shows sample data instead.
| Field | Value / check |
|---|---|
| Country | Republic of Korea |
| Street / Address Line 1 | Official road and building number |
| Apartment / Address Line 2 | Actual building/unit and floor; leave empty if not needed |
| City | City from the structured result |
| State / Province / Region | State / Province from the result |
| ZIP / Postal Code | Five digits, including any leading zero |
Enter the recipient's real name and phone manually. These are not supplied by the address API and are not stored here.
Country names
Choose the South Korea entry. In this example the value is Republic of Korea; it is one country label, not separate choices. Use the current list on the actual service.
Does this register my address?
No. Copy the fields to the actual Amazon form. Check country, mandatory fields, length limits and any autocomplete changes. Screens can differ by account, region, app and date.
How is the address transferred?
The selected address is passed once in the same tab and cleared immediately after reading. It is not placed in URL queries, hash URLs, localStorage or sessionStorage. Selecting/copying the public base address may increment anonymous demand statistics, but apartment details are excluded.
Official sources
Read this guide alongside the receiving service's current instructions. Korean official sources establish the address data, not every international form's field layout.
